Listen to this fascinating interview with Robert George "Bobby" Seale (born October 22, 1936, in Dallas, Texas), an American civil rights activist, who along with Dr. Huey P. Newton, co-founded the Black Panther Party For Self Defense on October 15, 1966.

In more recent years, Seale's actions differ greatly from the radical ones of his past. In 1987, he authored a cookbook called Barbecuing with Bobby and was also a spokesman for Ben & Jerry's ice cream. In 2002, Seale began dedicating his time to Reach!, a group focused on youth education programs. Currently he teaches black studies at Temple University in Philadelphia and is also launching an instructional, nonprofit group helping people develop the necessary techniques and tools to set up community organization within their neighborhoods.

George McGovern, a former United States Representative, Senator, and Democratic presidential nominee spoke with Brian Bahouth about the current political climate and how it compares with his experiences in the 60s and 70s.

A decorated World War II combat veteran noted for his opposition to the Vietnam War, George McGovern lost the 1972 presidential election in a landslide to incumbent Richard Nixon. A longtime leader in ensuring nutrition and food security and fighting hunger and poverty, McGovern was appointed United Nations Ambassador on World Hunger in 2001.

Jodi Selene talks about computer voting with Dr. Peter Neumann, principal scientist at SRI International, and author of the book, "Computer Related Risks." Dr. Neumann has doctorates from Harvard and Darmstadt, Germany. He received the National Computer System Security Award in 2002. He has been working in the field of computer security since the 1970's and has given testimony for the U.S. Senate and House and the California State legislature on computer voting security.

We will also be talking with Nevada County registrar of voters, Gregory Diaz, toward the end of the hour.
