Haines Ely M.D., Local dermatologist (Professor of Dermatology UC Davis) has underwritten the blues show Tuesday afternoons since 1986 as "The dermatologist who loves the blues."

The Earth Mysteries Show, on Mondays (except the 1st Mondays of each month) at Noon, since 1987 continues to assist listeners in "pulling the wool over their own eyes." Dr. Ely has personally changed the sleeping habits of Nevada County; people are actually getting up by noon to hear the Earth Mysteries show or some blues.
