Since childhood I have had a very ecclectic taste in music. Kingston Trio, Helen Reddy, Creedence, Hendrix, The Cure, Bach, Mozart, Bob Marley, Steel Pulse to name a few. At a young age my parents would lose me at Disneyland as I would stop for every musician in the park. I remember feeling like I was frozen as I would stare in amazement at the various forms of musical talent I would encounter. I love concerts to this day, although I prefer smaller venues. I originally grew up in the S.F. East Bay where I spent much of my time and money on skateboarding and music. Around my later teenage years I discovered the Berkeley scene and there followed Rasputins and Amoeba records. Around this same time they discovered most of my money. I grew up listening to Live 105 and remember well the days of Steve Masters and his mind blowing mixes. After the aggravation of a "congested" Bay Area I decided to move my family to Truckee where I could be a part of the mountains I had grown to love. Well without the boring in between details of my personal life we settled here locally in Grass Valley. After meeting my, now good friend Keith West ("Fusion Intrusion" Show and guitar playing madman) I also discovered the world of radio...

Enter... My childhood dream...

As a young kid I always wanted to be a Disc Jockey as I remember calling it then. Especially during the Steve Masters years I mentioned earlier. Even as I got older I always said "My dream job would be playing whatever I wanted over the Air-Waves for people". Well KVMR has definitely allowed me to fullfill that dream. As I play "Whatever I want", hopefully, it is something you want. I really want to turn people onto something new in the music world. I hope that at least once per show my audience says "WOW what was that?" Keep the calls coming, I always appreciate anything my audience has to offer. Your input makes me better.
